Many nations throughout the world, especially those within the western hemisphere, celebrate "El Día de los Niños." This day is designed to honor children, who represent the hopes and dreams of every community. The city of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department Latino Institute produces this event and asks all in attendance to celebrate our country's most valuable asset - its youth.
"El Día de los Niños" festival is in its 16th year, with the 2015 event hosting over 5,000 children and educators who participated in activities provided by more than 50 organizations, exhibitors and educators.
