The Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry at Grace encompasses many key areas of church life: Greeters at Worship, the Welcome Station and Visitor Follow-up; Neighborhood Outreach; Cradle Roll; Birthday Acknowledgements; Member Recognition; Shepherding; Snacks after Worship; Hospitality and Fellowship Events; and the Grace Website, among others.

“All Are Welcome” is one of the Five Biblical Guiding Principles at Grace Lutheran Church. We print the Principles on nearly every bulletin and newsletter, and restate them often in sermons, witness talks, meetings, prayer groups, etc. In other words, we make it a priority, and everyone at Grace knows we stand firmly behind those Principles. In fact, you just might not quite fit in here at Grace, if you don’t.

We believe that everyone at Grace is on our hospitality team. Everyone has a responsibility to meet and greet, and go out of their way to welcome all – visitors and members alike. Grace has 13 people on our Hospitality Ministry task force – a large team for a small but growing congregation. This strong and positive team of church leaders and faithful volunteers believes that hospitality is at the very heart of what Jesus has asked of us: Share God’s Love.
