Celebrate 500 years of Reformation
and 100 years of Grace in the City
Saturday, October 28, 2017 · 2–8pm
Grace Lutheran Church invites our neighbors, sister churches and ministry partners to a Reformation Open House with an Oktoberfest theme.
As we gather in fellowship, we honor our German and Lutheran heritage and throw in a few modern twists.
This open house is a great way for churches in the Capital Conference of the Grand Canyon Synod and our ministry partners to get to know each other. And it's Grace's way of saying thank you for all the support we receive.
We'll have plenty of German-inspired food, like bratwurst and hot dogs, sauerkraut and pretzels, potato salads and desserts. In honor of Martin Luther, craft and root beer will be on tap as well. Most food and drink will be free, with some specialty foods on a pay-per-item basis.
Enjoy trivia, yard games, and special prizes, all in a Reformation theme. We'll have great music playing, from traditional polka to polka-inspired norteño. German beer hall style seating will be available inside and out for maximum socializing.
