Meal 5:15 pm Program 6:00-8:00 pm

Children from preschool through 5th grade are all welcome for a week of singing, learning, arts & crafts, snacks, and fun!  To register, call the church office at 602-258-3787 or email our Administrative Assistant Stephanie at officemanager@graceinthecity.com.

Drama Workshop Performance on Sunday, May 12

In worship on Sunday, May 12, the children and youth who participate in the GLOW Drama Workshop will be presenting the drama on which they have been working on Wednesday evenings.  We give thanks for their message and also for their leader, Sarah Sullivan, who is the director of Rising Youth Theater which is housed out of Phoenix Center for the Arts!

Youth Mission Team-Building on Sunday, May 12, 12:30 pm, Youth Room

All youth and chaperones planning to go on the mission trip to Lake Havasu City: please plan to join us for team-building on Sunday, May 12!  If you are unable to attend the team-building but are planning to go on the trip, please speak with Pastor Sarah.  The mission trip is getting close, and we have details to firm up.

Youth Service on Sunday, May 19, 8:30 am

Rehearsal Time: Saturday, May 18, 10:00 am, Hope Hall

The youth will be leading us all in worship on Sunday, May 19 during the first service.  Youth, if you already know how you would like to participate, please speak with Pastor Sarah.  We will discuss details at the team-building on May 12 and then meet for rehearsal on Saturday, May 18 at 10:00 am.

Monthly Activites at Grace:

Every Sunday:

            7:30 am Come and join us for a Community Pancake Breakfast in Hope Hall.

            8:30 am Stay and enjoy a Contemporary Worship with our Praise Band in Hope Hall.

            9:45 am is Sunday School and Adult Education.

            11:00 am is our Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary.

Every Wednesday:

            5:30 pm GLOW (Grace Lutheran on Wednesdays) Meal for Children, Youth, & Adults

            6:30 pm GLOW Bible Study for Adults

            6:30 pm GLOW Drama Workshop for Children & Youth

Second Sunday:

            6:00 pm Young Adults, join in the Theology Pub @ Angel's Trumpet (810 N. 2nd St.).

Second Tuesday:

            6:45 pm is Ministry Night.  All are welcome to come and participate in the ministries of Grace!      

Fourth Tuesday:

            6:00 pm is the Congregational Council Meeting.

Second Wednesday:

            10:00 am Come to the North Room if you are interested in knitting because our KnitWit Group will be making everything from prayer shawls to baby caps.

First Thursday:

            9:30 am Come to WELCA (Women of the ELCA) and see what interesting and important ministries our ladies support.  The meeting is held in the North Room.

Third Thursday:

            9:30 am Come to Biblical Equipping for an in-dept Bible Study held in the North Room.

Every Saturday:

            8:00 am Come to Hope Hall for a Bible Study.  All are welcome!

Second Saturday:

             5:00 pm Cinema Club meets for a potluck dinner and a movie.  There is a different location each month.
